Shoeper Challenge #51

Here’s what I wore yesterday. These shoes were a gift last summer, and I’ve worn them before now, but finally got around to photographing them. The belt was a gift too, and matches the shoes too perfectly not to wear together.

I hate to say it, but do you know what I might like most about this picture?

Yes, it’s the fact that all the snow from Monday’s picture is melted! Woohoo! 🙂

Shoeper Challenge #50 – Home Stretch

, I’ve been noticeably slacking off in Shoeperwoman’s shoe challenge lately.  I only saved 1 pair in November 2011, and haven’t saved any since then.  But…  I realized over the weekend ther are only 3 weeks left before the Challenge ends, and I still have a few pairs I’d like to keep.  There are 3 or 4 pairs I’m planning to give up, because I haven’t worn them, and just don’t want to, but the total count even after that stands @ 59 or 60 pairs total, because I’ve got a few new pairs, including 2 I just got for Christmas.

One of those is a pair for summer, so it’s highly unlikely I’ll have an opportunity to wear them before Valentine’s Day, so I think I’m going to have to exempt them from the challenge.  The other ones are winter-appropriate, so they’ll definitely be worn.

Anyway, here’s milestone pair #50, one of my favorites.  They’re also more teal than blue.  I realized in the photo that they look more blue, and I hope they don’t make me look too much like Smurfette.  😮  I swear they’re really teal, not blue.

I like these so much, I took a close-up too, so you can see the flat stud detail a little better.  Enjoy.
