Weather forecast for tomorrow night

Isn’t it supposed to be spring?  Did Mother Nature miss the memo?  She sent the crocuses up, which is normally one of my happiest days of spring.  It’s sullied this year by the threat of pending doom & gloom in the form of 6-12 inches of fluffy white stuff, starting tomorrow night, going into Friday.

To cheer myself up, I took some pictures of the crocuses.  I like taking pictures of flowers anyway, and I was pleased with these, especially to see the contrast of the brown, dead grass against the vibrant green leaves and gorgeous violet blooms, even if they are smaller than they seem in these close-ups.

  1. Look on the bright side (if you can see anything from the glare of all the snow): It’s probably our last snow, and then – Spring!

I think you’re right, and I’m relieved that we didn’t get nearly as much as forecast, and it’s already melted. 🙂
