Lucy on the mend

If you look close, you can see the fur on top of her head is starting to grow back.  ♥

  2. Aww, the poor thing – I always feel so sorry for animals who have to wear those funnel things and you can’t explain that it’s for their own good! Hope she’s feeling better 🙂

      She seems to be feeling MUCH better, even though we still don’t really know what’s wrong. The Prednisone she’s taking seems to help a lot, and the vet thought she might not even need the cone, but as soon as she came out of the anesthesia, she tried to scratch at the stitches. She still tries to scratch right through the cone, but obviously can’t reach. We find out tomorrow if the stitches are ready to come out, so today might be her last day with the cone. I’m keeping my fingers crossed…
